Design our Club Mascot!

So, it's about time to update you all with a new contest! Since our first DA birthday is coming up on June 30th, myself and the admins have decieded that we need a club mascot. Some guidelines:

Mascot would have to be a dragon. Tough one, i know. We're strict on this.

Does not have to be a typical dragon. One leg, twenty legs, doesn't matter. But make it ...unique. We're a club focused on the individuality amongst our creations.

It doesn't have to be unbearably cute like most mascots. Whatever you design, cute or scary, is fine with us. The winner will be decieded by both the members and the administration.

When you join, there is a limit of FIVE (5) 'old' works from your current gallery.

There is no limit on new works you add to our gallery.

Art Trades

Our scraps sections holds character references so our members may trade with one another.

You just send us a reference picture of ONE (1) of your original dragon characters in a note entitled "Scraps section" so we can post it in our scraps.

Remember, you need a reference picture in the scraps to trade and there is a limit of ONE (1) of your characters, so choose wisely.

The Update

If you're wondering why you have a number of 'collects' from this club, it is because we're putting the club's art into a collection.
All gallery work has been added to the collection.

Due to the changes in the favourites gallery and with collections, I have decided to add to our 'submission' process, which means when you submit we'll put it in our collection too.

All gallery items that are currently in our members galleries will remain and we will continue to accept submissions. Works will be additionally added to the club collection.

Some other aspects have been pointed out to me so no major changes are coming.

Pardon all that, stress has been getting to me.

MESSAGE FROM THE ADMIN

A Late Merry Christmas and Early Happy New Year from us.

I want to discuss the idea of a club project. Something that all our members could contribute to if they wish to. I was thinking something along the lines of a club collab. Each member can draw a dragon (running, flying, jumping, breathing fire, getting burnt to a crisp..) which would be added to a background.

I'm not too sure on what the background would be or exactly how it would run but that will come in time.

This will only happen if there is enough interest.

So, who is interested in this idea?

We still have a few things to discuss about this project but we'll keep you posted.
